Calm House 2 Homestay Hoi An

Lovely, inviting room and a gorgeous view, but best of all was how welcoming and kind the hosts Rosy and Lee are. They really go out of their way to look after their guests, and they're also just very interesting people who are an absolute pleasure to have a chance to talk to. Calm House 2 it's very peaceful and quiet (and Rosy cooks local specialties for breakfast). They have two sisters properties in the area, so guests can also head over to Calm House 1 if they want to meet other travellers and enjoy a more social vibe.

The host is super friendly and helpful. I love to sit infront of the hostel by the river, reading book or listening to music. I wish I could stay longer.

This place is so peaceful right on the river away from the business of Old Town. So quiet and tranquil. I like that there are only 6 people in the dorm total. The other two rooms are private. I am now going to stay here for a few weeks in the private which has a stunning private balcony overlooking the water. The WiFi is really good for working, and the AC is super cold. There are fans in the room too. The patio out front is perfect for reading with a cup of tea. But the best part is the host family ¨̮ They are genuine, compassionate people that make you feel at home. They made my stay memorable, that’s why I’m booking longterm. I don’t want to leave!

Loved my time at calm house 2, I had been feeling a little homesick from travelling, Huong and family made me feel so welcome and Mia the dog was a very welcomed sight. Breakfast each morning was delicious and Huong would explain a little bit about the breakfast when she brought it out. I originally booked 3 nights and stayed 6 in the end. Location is lovely, it’s away from the old town next to the river which is super peaceful. I wouldn’t hesitate about staying here again.

We had a great time in Calm house 2 hostel. It was just one night, not enough time to enjoy so I definitely recommend staying more time in this place next to The old down town of Hoi an

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! Huong and her husband are fantastic hosts. They provide great tips, are attentive to your needs, and even offer laundry services. Plus, you can rent bikes or scooters from them. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and relaxing, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I felt incredibly comfortable there and can highly recommend it! Thank you soooooo much <3

Everything was perfect! I had the most wonderful stay! The location is great, very close distance to the old town and main tourist sights whilst being in a very calm, peaceful and beautiful area. The building is fantastic with a lovely terrace overlooking the water, the interior is beautifully decorated - very artistic and chic with paintings. The room was spacious, modern and clean with a great bathroom and beds. The best part was the host! Such a kind, warm, and welcoming family who made me feel at home and helped me with so much advice on where to visit and allowed me to store my luggage and use the shower after I checked out. I would love stay again and would highly recommend to everyone! One of the loveliest hostels I've ever stayed in!

I really appreciated my stay here. And I'll come back. Huong, her husband and daughter are so kind and welcoming. They gave me many tips for my trip, helped me to book my bus for coming back to the airport, offered me coconut ice cream, tea,... The house is just in front of the river, with a perfect view. You're not in the center but not too far, so it's calm. And you can use bikes to move (or walk). Room is clean. It's not a "party hostel" but shared aera are well-designed, so you can easily meet other guests. There's a small great restaurant few meters walk from the house, if you're too tired to go downtown

I enjoyed very much the peaceful time at huong s house. Huong is sooo sweet and friendly and smiling. She is an easy person to talk to. I had so many questions about hoi an lol. There is a good energy around the place. Highly recommended!

I wish they could put a small bag or a shelve near the bed to put my phone or book

The family is very friendly, i felt like home. Rhe breakfast is very good and they have a nice trasse in front of the river. The dorm is very clean and cozy, I would definitely come again!
