Mrs. Columbo's Flat

The apartment is very nicely set, absolutely clean and quiet. The owner is very kind and has put a lot of attention in the decoration and every little detail to make it not only comfortable but also pleasant. The apartment lies a bit off the city center of Pest but there are very frequent direct connections to Deac Ferenc by tram 49 at one end of the street and to a big commercial center and public transportation hub in Móricz Zsigmond by bus 53 at the other end, even late at night (public transportation is free for all EU citizen above 60 y.o.).

Not a problem, just a warning : the apartment lies on the 3th floor and there is no lift. The 2 persons bed is relatively narrow (around 1.50 m), so be sure you will sleep with somebody you like :-)

Really charming and cozy accommodation with a unique and precise style! I also loved the Ruth Orkin photograph ;) Nice balcony surrounded by trees invites you to drink your morning coffee in peace, just before you can rush into the city life. Beautiful and cozy. Thank you, Mrs. Columbo!

The owner met us at arrival, gave us the keys and a tour of the apartment. Was very nice and welcoming, explained everything and answered all our questions. The place was clean and looked new, very comfortable.

The apartment it a bit far from the city center, about 30 minutes on public transport.

The apartment was clean, quiet and nicely furnished. The host was helpful and left a gift.

The location was a bit isolated but close to public transport. Three flights of stairs with no lift. The pillows and bedding could do with being replaced.
