My experience with Leogrand agency was very negative. I booked apartments through Booking (first for 14 nights and then 1 more night). On the day of arrival, they sent check-in instructions at the last minute, and then asked me by phone to cancel my 14-night booking (to avoid paying Booking’s commission) and promised me a 1,000 UAH discount. I agreed out of goodwill, understanding the difficult times in Ukraine. But in the end, they charged me more than the price on their own website, despite saving the commission. Instead of honesty and gratitude, I faced clear dishonesty. Later, I tried to rent another apartment from the same property. They charged me in advance for the first night. But when I arrived, I found myself in a disgusting apartment with a strong smell — like hundreds of cats had been peeing there for 10 years without any cleaning. I immediately told the property I was cancelling the booking. They refused to refund the prepayment and claimed I was obligated to pay for the remaining 11 nights, citing their “company rules.” They tried to aggressively pressure me into paying, until I firmly stated that if this continued, we would see each other in court and verify the legality of their rules. Only then did they back off — but still refused to return my prepayment for that awful place. This experience showed me that you need to be very careful with this agency. I will not recommend Leogrand to anyone and will never use their services myself.
