49 Downtown Pompeii

Exceptional location!! In the heart of Pompeii and so central to the major sites but still private and quiet. The host was very responsive and friendly. The room was well laid out and furnished and the communal area was an added bonus.

Breakfast was included at the cafe next door which was run by a lovely friendly family however the opening times were a bit late for us to get on with all the exploring.

Esta muy bien ubicado y en el centro de Pompeya. Rosella (anfitriona) es amable, antenta y te facilita todo lo que puede la estacia. Nos dio recomendaciones para visitar y sitios donde comer y a cada cual mejor. Hemos estado muy a gusto.

Poco armario para guardar cosas.

Struttura situata proprio a ridosso del Santuario...location stupenda,dotata di tutti i comfort e poi che dire del personale...Mauro è una persona stupenda,molto disponibile e gentile.Consigliatissimo!!!

It was fresh, clean and bathroom was beautiful

Perfect location, close to everything. Very comfortable room, spotless clean and air conditioned. Friendly hosts who helped us finding a safe parking a few steps from the flat.

Everything is new, bathroom, air conditioning, location.

It wasn’t everything what was on the facilities, example slippers ( it was state), and if you want coffee, you have to go in communal area, it’s not very comfortable in the morning, and we don’t like paper cups for coffee, it’s not enjoyable.

Perfect location for our two nights in Pompeii! The view from our windows and the little balcony were just beautiful, right on the square with a spectacular church and bell tower and mountains to the other side, a short walk to the Pompeii ruins, train stations (there's two...you need to know which one you want depending on where you're going), tasty restaurants, bakery and supermarkets. Mauro was welcoming and gave us all the information we wanted. The apartment was very clean, had a mini fridge for our drinks and snacks, plenty of towels and space for our family of four (11 and 13 year old kids), and a great big shower. Out on the square there were water jets coming up from the ground that came on and off during the day.....the kids really enjoyed playing in these and cooling down. We really enjoyed playing cards on the balcony in the morning and evening, while taking in community and visitor activity on the square. The bells rang from the bell tower twice in the day (that we noticed) and this was lovely to hear. There are just a couple of things that would have made it perfect. Next time we'd ask for a second key card. Having only one complicated our movements a little, having to coordinate getting back in if one of us left to pop to the shop or down to the fountain with the kids etc. The key card is needed in the apartment for lights and power so we couldn't take it with us if someone was resting or showering etc. A few cups for coffee and shared drinks would also have been very handy. The apartment is up two tall flights of stairs. This worked for us as it gave us a fantastic view, but wouldn't work if you had any mobility issues.
