"A QUICK FRAUDULENT SCHEME TO MAKE MONEY WITHOUT HOSTING ANY GUEST"

FRAUD! FRAUD! This particular listing is well calculated fraud. 1) They start up with a non refundable deal, with a holding deposit in fine prints. 2) Once you book, they harvest all your personal details via an extended website, and get a photo of your ID card. There is no guarantee that these details may not be used for identify theft. 3)They ensure the payment system which they use to collect the holding deposit is not very reliable. They claimed it works but in my case it defaulted three times. When you are stuck and can't pay the holding deposit via the external link, they refuse to grant you access into the property and offer no refund. Then they end up with free money without providing any service. 4) They sent me a message "we do not take monies from your bank account for bookings less than 3 night...". Not long after taking my bank details using their site I immediately noticed 3 attempts to collect money from the account. Why do you try to deduct money from my account if you "do not take monies from your bank account for bookings less than 3 night.."? 5) I got a different card with enough to pay the holding deposit and tried to make the payment again for the second time, but their system at the time wasn't working properly and so the payment was declined again. 6) Out of frustration since their system was acting up, and me wiling to help facilitate the checkin process, I offered to give them cash and to sign an agreement for a refund of the cash immediately after my stay. But to my greatest surprised, they refused this option, as a signed document would catch them out 7) After explaining the situation to booking.com customer service they agreed that the booking should be canceled as the host didn't want to host us. They put in a request to cancel the booking but the host declined.

The host was very rude and would drop the call again and push me to contact booking.com instead of reasoning with me to get a solution to the problem. Mindful of the fact that they have collected and secured the booking, they weren't helpful at all as either way they now have my money. I just notice I am not the first guest to write a review complaining about this holding deposit fraud by the host. But I hope to be the last so that people read this review and not fall victims. I guess people just need a place to rest and go their way without needing to get involved with unnecessary back and forth messages and calls. I write this review with facts and evidences to prove my claim. I Know the host will immediately try to counter this review to cover up their evil acts with lies. But whatever their response may be, WATCH OUT SO YOU DON'T BECOME THE NEXT VICTIM.

"Great place to stay with families or larger meet ups in derby centre"

The host was more than happy to bring more blankets and asked anything we needed. Property was spotless Sofa beds for large families Lovely large rooms

"Not a good experience"

The bedrooms were large and all had their own tv.

Living room was tiny, food left in the fridge and smelt bad, the house looked like a rush and rent, check in was not good. We had been working all day and check in was 5pm, after jumping through hoops we finally got the door code around 5:30. We have stayed in one of their properties before and it was really good except Check in, this one was a bit disappointing.

They kept questioned us after we pay stay and deposit. Check in and check out are mess up because 5pm check in to 11am check in are very short time. They asked us get out of house by 10am but we read their policy rule check out 11am before we sign the paperwork. They asked us to sign the paperwork. We read everything and they kept question/mess/nosy us big time. They asked me what reason we stay after I text them what code for key access to the property. It’s very rude and nosy. We been arrive at the property and wait almost an hour for need code key from them. We can’t get relax/ enjoy because they kept questioned us when we were in this property. This deposit is very very rip off for £300. We asked them reduced and they accepted down £250 from £300. A woman been come in the property while we were some sleep and woke up. She said we should have been check out 10am. We show her their policy rule says check out by 11am with signature on the property’s paperwork. She called to owner and they realise that they’re fault and mistake. They’re apologised us for mess up. They’re stressed us out big time. We look for just stay/peacful because we can go night out.
