O Forno de Catuxa Cottage & Roman Wall

Imagine staying at a wonderful five star hotel owned by loving and caring relatives. That is the amazing experience we had, staying five night at this amazing hotel. The owners were so friendly, kind and caring. They went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. A super comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast was delicious, with many gluten free options available, and served in the most beautiful way. The location was excellent as well, just a few minutes to Lugo and great restaurants. Plenty of free parking as well. This is a 10++++ hotel and something everyone should experience. We will definitely stay there again.

Cuando entras en O Forno de Catuxa, sientes como si estuvieras entrando en un lugar mágico. El espacio da vida a su historia, y cada pequeño detalle ha sido cuidadosamente pensado por los increíbles anfitriones, Marga y Miguel. Se nota que han puesto todo su corazón y alma en darle vida. Son dos de los anfitriones más fascinantes, con una gran riqueza histórica, conocimientos e historias sobre la región, su gastronomía, su gente y su cultura. Nos recomendaron un restaurante en Lugo, Os Cachivaches ,donde quizás probamos, el mejor arroz con bogavante que hayamos comido nunca. Es difícil expresar con palabras lo especial que es este lugar, pero después de nuestra estancia, puedo decir lo siguiente: llegas como un extraño y te vas como un amigo. El desayuno ofrece todo lo que tu corazón (y tu estómago) pueden desear, las habitaciones son encantadoras, la decoración es fantástica y el jardín, con su patio y sus centelleantes luces de hadas, es realmente mágico. Tómate tu tiempo para empaparte de su encanto y te irás renovado, como si un poco de su magia se hubiera quedado contigo. Ah, y no olvides darles un abrazo a los perros de nuestra parte.

El sitio es increíble, tiene un encanto natural, muy acogedor, 100x100 recomendable. Los anfitriones muy simpáticos, atentos y cercanos

מקום האירוח הזה העניק לנו חוויה ביתית, חמה מאד, אישית מאד. מדובר במקום אירוח שהוא בית מבחינת האווירה שהמארחים משרים. התקבלנו בחום אמיתי, כאילו נפגשנו עם חברים קרובים. המבנה כולו והחדר שבו שהינו - מדהימים. המקום מעוצב בידי המארחת בטוב טעם יוצא דופן וגם לכך יש תרומה גדולה לאווירה. הכניסה למבנה הייתה מפתיעה, כאילו נכנסת לגלריה לאמנות. מעולם לא הייתה לנו חווית אירוח נפלאה כפי שחווינו כאן ואנחנו אסירי תודה למארחים. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה מצויינת - הכל היה לא פחות מנפלא ויוצא דופן.

Very peaceful, clean and comfortable.

Liked everything. Perfect place to relax whilst doing El Camino. Only down side it was 16 km from Portomarín where we wanted to spend the night . But hotel gave us contact of a taxi that picked us up and took us to hotel and the next morning dropped us back in Portomarin to continue the Camino . We arrived late at night but hotel has a nice garden where you could relax if you arrived earlier .

Casa rural con "enxebre" y mucho encanto ubicada a 10 minutos de la ciudad romana de Lugo. Dispone de 7 habitaciones, cada una de ellas ambientada con una cuidada y, a veces, sorprendente decoración. Espectacular desayuno con productos locales de gran calidad en un ambiente muy acogedor. Marga y Miguel, excelentes anfitriones de fina e inteligente conversación , también han ayudado, con sus consejos, detalles y amabilidad, a que nuestra estancia de dos días en este inigualable entorno rural haya sido muy placentera.

קבלנו יחס מצויין, בעלת המקום סייעה לנו בכל נושא שהעלינו באופן יוצא מן הכלל. כשהתעניינו איפה ניתן לכבס היא לקחה אליה את הכביסה וקיבלנו אותה נקייה, יבשה ומקופלת. כאשר אחד האורחים במלון הרעיש והפריע לנו - היא ארגנה מיידית מעבר לחדר אחר והעבירה לשם את כל חפצינו. והכל במאור פנים. ארוחת הבוקר היתה מצויינת. הזמנו גם ארוחת ערב במלון והיא היתה נפלאה.
