The view from the front windows is truly incredible, with lovely walks (through cattle pastures) just out the front door. The house is quaint and rustic. The wood burning fireplace works excellent and makes for a cozy feeling. The hosts have done a good job adding small touches (art, plants, trinkets) that make it feel nice. The hosts are very friendly - please keep in mind that they live in the property and are available to address any requirements you may have during your stay.

The hot tub costs an additional €100 per session and this was not clear in the property description at the time of our booking. The bed was a mattress on the floor with only 2 thin pillows. The shower has very low hot water pressure. The furniture is mostly from Ikea and not comfortable. There is no television. The kitchenware is cheap and flimsy. Some basic provisions were lacking at the time of check-in but provided by the host when requested. There are dogs on the property so you may need to watch where you step when walking in the grass. The drive to the house is about 15-20 minutes of very windy road up the side of a mountain, which often has bicyclists on it - so make sure to bring what you need as running out to a shop is a big exercise. While prices were higher over Easter weekend, we thought that spending €470/night meant this accommodation would offer a bit of luxury, which it did not. That said, I would stay here again if the price better reflected the quality of the accommodation.

We went in November and were lucky to catch a really nice weather with stunning views of autumn hills around. The stardom at night is fantastic, sunrises are magic, and you can enjoy them directly from your bed. Swedish hot tub is a nice way to end the day after hikings
