The Hideaway by the sea - free parking

It was very comfortable,clean and well equipped, my son and I came to Brighton to see Jools Holland and walked the approximately 3 miles to the centre but there was a bus stop right outside the property if we had wanted it. It was very handy having a parking space off of the road. If another gig we fancy going to came along, we will definitely be looking to stay here again.

A couple of hooks to hang up our coats would have been handy and I found the door tricky to lock on the outside.

Well presented and every amenity was thought of

Clean modern tidy

I liked the idea of the place, in the pictures looked lovely.

We booked this accommodation for a family of four, but unfortunately it was not suitable for that. The space is more appropriate for a couple, there were only two stools in the kitchenette and no other seating area. Once the sofa bed was extended, there was no space to move around, making it impractical to stay. Additionally, we had to make our own beds, and when we took out the bedding, we found that it was wet. It seems the bedding is stored at the bottom of the sofa bed, and when the floor was washed, water likely got underneath, soaking the pillows. Because of these issues, we decided not to stay. The description should be updated to reflect the actual space and capacity to avoid similar situations for other families.

The free private parking is a massive bonus. The location is also excellent as it's so straightforward and easy to get to wherever you want to go from here. The facilities and furnishings are great too and all of high quality. The hosts, Elly and Leon, were great too if you happen to have any issues or need any further assistance with anything. I love this place. I've stayed here twice in now in the past 18 months and will definitely be returning again.

Lovely owners, and free parking is very hard to find in Brighton so this was a huge bonus! Very generous with things they supplied such as coffee pods.

Some things were slightly broken (only minor!), and there wasn’t much storage space for our bags but we were still very comfortable as we only really needed the room at night.
