Avalon Resort & SPA

I had a wonderful weekend at Avalon Resort & Spa! Everything was absolutely perfect — the entire place is beautifully maintained, the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, and the food was simply delicious. It was a truly relaxing and memorable getaway!

Like always, it's a pleasure to stay here. It's the second time here after 2 years and iit's a wonderfull surprise to see that they are taking verry good care of the place. We will definitely come back. Thank you to the staff , they are verry nice and polite and ready always to help you and take care of your needs.

Location, pools , sauna.

Very expensive food, very small gym for such a location. Only 4 machines.

The hotel room was excellent, equipped with everything a couple might need during their stay. The breakfast was abundant and everything was very delicious. The hotel complex has several à la carte restaurants, and a particular advantage is that you can charge the meals to your room. The presence of a go-kart track within the complex was the ultimate highlight, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The wellness area was clean, and during our visit, it was used by few people, making it perfect.

Beautiful location at Miskolctapolca, great wellness facilities, restaurants, gokart center and the best buffet breakfast we ever had. It was an absolutely unforgettable memory.

In hotel room air-con was out-of-order because of lack of air-filter replacement. As a consequence there were 27 degrees Celsius constantly in hotel room without any option to adjust it. I believe for a 5-star hotel this type of maintenance work should be carried out according to schedule. On top of that in hotel restaurant, which was all-the-time full with up-and-down running children, I acquired a gastroenteritis, which made my memories truly unforgettable.

Everything is really great, absolutely recommended for families with kids. The SPA is also amazing. Sauna session is probably the best we ever experienced.

On Sunday the breakfast was great, the variety of food choices is amazing, but some dishes quickly ran out, and we had to wait almost 40 minutes for them to be refilled. However, on Monday, the breakfast was a bit reduced (for example, there was no more seafood).
