Atmosphere

De ligging is fantastisch, vlakbij leuke winkels, restaurants en koffiebars. Vanuit de woonkamer is er een leuk uitzicht op de straten eromheen. Doordat de slaapkamer niet aan de straatkant ligt, is er geen geluidsoverlast van de tegenoverliggende bars. Het appartement is charmant en comfortabel ingericht en ziet er heel mooi uit.

Het bed is heel erg klein voor 2 volwassenen. Wij hebben daardoor slecht geslapen. Verder is het appartement op en top!

Location, as well as having everything you might need.

There are a couple of flights of stairs and lugging our suitcase up those was not idea BUT we understand it’s a Georgian property and putting a lift in is not possible. Also, there is no parking nearby, so you need to plan the bag drop- off and book a parking space elsewhere.

An ideal location, very central and within easy reach of the main sights. We had a car with us, but this was not an issue, as there is a very good public car park (Charlotte Street Car Park) just a 7-minute walk away, where there is usually space and you can manage your parking time and payments through a mobile app. The flat itself is very beautiful and comfortable, and has all the necessary amenities (including Wi-Fi). The size is perfect for a couple (one double bedroom) and potentially a third guest (there is a sofa bed in the living room, which we did not need to use, as it was just my wife and me). We found it very clean and in excellent condition. They even left us a handbook with instructions for all the appliances and facilities, which made it very easy for us to settle in as if we were at home. The instructions from the host (thank you, Shelley!) for check-in and check-out were very clear, so we always knew exactly what to do. We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Artizan’s Den and we are certain we will return on our next trip to Bath (we are already looking forward to it!).
