No 1 Chestnut Grove

Well presented, spacious and comfortable property with off street parking for at least two cars. Also well appointed with kitchen items and utensils if you’re here for a longer stay and should you wish to cook for a family.

Lounge sofa is a little low and therefore a little uncomfortable/ awkward to get up and down.

Had a great stay for a few days with the family to celebrate my husbands birthday. Lovely bungalow, very spacious as loads of room for the 5 adults and 1 baby. The kitchen is fantastic, really big with everything you needed except a dishwasher, just had to go old school and get our hands in the sink 😀 With going at this time of year, November, the weather wasn't good but we still managed to walk into the main town and on the front, can imagine it's lovely in summer. Would definitely stay again.

Really has the wow factor, spotlessly clean, high quality furnishings and bedding, an amazing kitchen diner with everything you need. We were able to control the heating but to be honest we didnt really need it as the bungalow is so well insulated. Big lounge area with a massive L-shapped settee for chilling out. We didnt use the garden but would be great for the warmer months. Plenty of parking (could easily park 2 cars). Beds are so comfy, better than my bed at home! Could have stayed in the shower all day too!

Beautiful property overall Nice modern kitchen. Soft nice bedding . Plenty of room and dog friendly. Walking distance to beach and short drive to town.

No finishing touches . Uncomfortable sofa and generally Needing a deep clean. Appears a lack of interest from owners and not friendly when requesting code to enter. Txt contact didn’t answer my phone calls. The front outside of the property is looking run down . Internally tape covering a faulty latch on the lounge door . Showing lack of care . There is lack of mirrors and gone comforts like cushions etc . Bathroom unclean along with kitchen cupboards

Huge back garden suitable for families and dogs. Comfy sofas. Lovely deep bath.

We loved the bungalow. Plenty of space for 6 of us and 2 dogs. Location was lovely and peaceful apart from building work being done Close by starting at 7.30. We were up early anyway but it might disturb some guests. The garden is fantastic, safe and secure to let the dogs have a runabout without worrying about them. All three bedrooms are a good size with comfy beds. Good bathroom with a great shower over the bath. Nicely laid out kitchen with a nice view of the garden and a good sized 6 seater table. The breakfast bar with 4 stools also came in useful.

Some of the plates, pans and utensils needed washing before we used them, not a big enough problem to contact the owners over but a better check between guests would be suggested. Also items of food left from previous guests we personally wouldn't use them and would prefer empty freezer and cupboards. Only 5 mugs and 2 teaspoons for 6 guests is not enough, we bought another mug while on holiday. Settee is very low but comfortable enough for short periods. As mentioned on previous reviews a lock on the bathroom door would be beneficial.
