Payson Inn & Suites

Trust me, don’t stay here. The bed was terrible, the floor was disgusting, the room was tiny. Check in was terrible. The owner tried to charge me a $30 fee for my husbands service dog, which is illegal, and I had to show him three different places where it said that was illegal before he finally gave me a room. I should’ve just left and got a refund.

Check in people were nice but, when I told them I have a service dog, they charged me a$30 extra fee for clean up. Our dog is 15 years old and has been certified since she was two. We have NEVER been charged a service fee. This is probably her last trip because her hips and hind legs are very bad. She falls often, so we are basically taking care of her now. Rooms need updated but were fairly clean. The sink and tub were slow draining so didn’t upset the shower/tub. No Wi-Fi or general info anywhere in the room. Heard some people talking outside 3 times during the night from 11:00 4:30 am. I kept getting up and looking outside to make sure our vehicle was ok. Checked out early after walking next door to Dennys for breakfast. That was the best thing about our stay. The Dennys manager was very welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. Will never stay at this motel again come through Payson every other year to visit my sister in Peoria.

Clean rooms and was a nice quiet place to stay

Very clean especially the bathroom. Quiet and friendly.

The owner / proprietor was so accommodating and I woke him up at 1:00 AM to check in and he was such a good sport about it and the next day he bought me a Coke and thanked me for staying there. Now there are much fancier places to stay in the area but you are made to feel like family for the entire stay and you cant get that anywhere else!

Property is older but it is clean and in safe area. Above all else, the owners have invested in new mattresses and great bedding. Very comfortable. Last, frontdesk staff was fantastic.

The staff at the property were very accommodating and attentive to all of our needs. My only complaint, but it’s a big one, is that the room was very rundown and needs to be updated. The walls look dirty the corners of the room look dirty and overall, it wasn’t a very comfortable stay. The bathroom smelled like mold and mildew. Also, there are deadbolts on the door, but none of the locks that are only latched from inside which made me a little nervous during our stay.

Room had no view but everything else, was perfect. We were able to walk to several restaurants. It is a very nice.

The check in was super fast. But the walls are very thin. I could hear the tv in the room next to me till 2am. Also very close to the Main Street so you can hear the traffic going by very early in the morning. I wouldn’t stay again
