HUGreat location close to the centre, but still in a calm and quiet street. Lovely house, it was very cozy and authentic. The host was kind, helpful and flexible with the check-in.
The address is not obvious, you should just look for Sono Guesthouse on Google Maps and it will direct you to the right place.

GBI stayed in Karakol for a month as a solo traveller to volunteer/ski and I’m very glad that I chose Guest House SONO. The location is unbeatable, the bedroom was big and clean with a comfortable bed, and Azhar was welcoming and helpful with laundry etc. Yes, the kitchen is small and there is one bathroom, but I never had to compete for either of these spaces. Value for money is the best you’ll find.
The heating is powered by a furnace in the bathroom which sometimes left a smoky smell on laundry - this is probably the sacrifice for having a warm house.
