B&B San Giuseppe, nel cuore di Ortigia

Pretty odd having a full (common) kitchen without any utensils whatsoever.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich im Herzen von Ortigia. Die Zufahrt über die engen Gassen ist erstmalig etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, nach mehrmaliger Zu- und Abfahrt aber kein Problem. Die Parkgarage befindet sich ums Eck und kostet 20.-€ pro Tag. Das großräumige Zimmer befindet sich in einem Apartement im 2. Stock. Der Zutritt erfolgt elektronisch. Die Angaben vom Vermieter sind detailliert und erfolgen per WhatsApp. Persönlichen Kontakt hat es keinen gegeben, ist aber auch nicht notwendig gewesen. Zimmer und Bad sind groß genug, das Fenster führt zu einer kleinen Gasse. Da wir dieses offen gehalten haben, hat uns in der Früh der Müllwagen geweckt und die Fußgänger waren deutlich zu hören. War aber nicht weiter schlimm. Das Zimmer ist mit den üblichen Dingen ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die von allen anderen Mitbewohnern nutzbare Küche ist dafür nahezu leer. Wenn man sich etwas kochen wollte, wäre dies nicht möglich. Das Frühstück bekommt man im Cafe Viola, ca. 100m entfernt. Es besteht aus einem gefüllten Croissant und einer Tasse Kaffee. Gleich neben der Unterkunft befindet sich aber ein kleines Frühstückslokal, in dem man um 15.-€ ein Frühstücksbüffet bekommen kann.

An der Unterkunft selbst nichts Wesentliches. Das Frühstück hat aber nicht unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen.

As it's advertised as B&B, there are three bedrooms in the apartment, each with own bathroom and in the common room there is a camera in the far corner of the kitchen. I do understand the security reasons, but it's a bit annoying to be observed while having a beer after long walk. The breakfast was included in the price and it is taking place in a lovely bakery 150 meters from the building. You have to present a coupon from the host. First day we found two coupons in one of the rooms ( 4 guests - 2 rooms) and we thought it's 1 for each room. OK but no! It must be for each person. I wrote several messages to the host and for next morning we found two coupons in each room slipped under the door. For the last morning I didn't bother to write at all.

Niente.. essendo al centro nessuno aiuto per il parcheggio , ho speso un botto per la sosta di tre giorni e la camera non era come in foto.

Posizione, camera sotto le aspettative e il prezzo molto alto rispetto alla qualità della camera.
