Grade 2 listed School Cottage in York.

Very cosy, with lots of character. Easy travel to nearby locations to browse shops, cafes, and attractions. Responsive heating system, much needed in the winter months.

A couple of things were quite unsafe to use, such as the door knob on one of the bedroom doors, and the bolt on the front door, which was very stiff. I appreciate the property is a listed building, however the inside of the windows are very dirty and mouldy.

Lovely old cottage in a quiet village location, an excellent starting point for our trips to Central York. Village pub opposite the property, which was also excellent, lovely food and really friendly staff. Despite the weather we had a great long weekend away

We loved the village it was in and the pub across the road was lovely and very friendly. Food was amazing

Beautifully furnished and super clean, queries were answered promptly by the owner. Location was perfect. Being less than 10 minutes from park and ride into York, pub opposite with friendly, helpful staff. Close to national park and other interesting places.

School cottage is just so comfortable. Fell a little in love with it and wish we could have stayed longer! Managed to get my car into the little courtyard, but if your car is bigger than a Toyota Corrola, the gate won't close . I would recommend the park and ride bus service. Saves the hassle of parking in York.

Step down into ensuite bathroom and stairs need to be careful on.
