May Tree Cottage Manorbier 5 mins from the beach Sleeps 4

The cottage is quaint and an old building. The rooms are spacious and it was dog friendly so perfect for us. It’s a 5 minute walk down to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and a dishwasher and the TV is a smart TV. It’s right next door to a cosy pub so expect some noise but this didn’t bother us! :) parking is limited as well so during summer I’d imagine you’d struggle for parking as it’s residents only from May - September.

The heating broke on the last day and it became very cold very quickly and the lady was unable to come right away so we decided to leave. There is also mould in the bathroom because the window doesn’t open and it’s an old building so there isn’t any ventilation other than a small fan for a big bathroom. The garden is overgrown as well.

Great Location and a very comfortable stay. Olive the dog had a great time running on the beach. The pub next door was very friendly and we ate there each night we stayed! We would definitely stay again !

Great spacious rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and the garden is perfect for the dog.

The double mattress needs replacing. It is old and has indents on each side of the bed from lots of use.

Keys were in a lock safe which makes it all very easy. Kitchen was well equipped. Rooms were cool in the heat. Location was good. Shower worked well and water was hot running it. The bus stop was very close.

Bathroom window was filthy and painted closed. Water in the bath was hit and miss and my sister never managed to bath as she hates showers, the water was cold. Floors were very uneven in places. Right next to the pub and sometimes this could be loud and conversations interesting. Would be lovely to have some furniture to be able to sit out in the front part of the garden as the back/side was very overgrown and difficult to navigate with drinks and meals. Parking was very hit and miss and in the summer I should imagine that it would be a nightmare.
