Not much to do in Miri Town but it is close to waterfront and places to eat, malls etc. Towel is provided, good wifi and good air con.

Staff doesnt speak english so not helpful for info, advice, etc, but the guy was friendly. Hallway smells a lot of cigarrettes since apparently it is allowed to smoke (ashtray in the room, also some ash left on the "soap holder"?). My room somehow didnt smell.
