"Great downstairs area. Clean and tidy and Comfortable beds"

8.0

The downstairs layout was very good for the size group and the table was just perfect for the 9 of us. Plenty of seating in the lounge for us too and the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable and clean The house was a little dated upstairs and looked a bit tired. A good painting and covering up of cracks in the walls would give this a new fresh look

N/A. There wasn't anything I didn't like. However, I did think the price was a bit steep though. £684 for 1 night, which, when you consider that check in is at 4pm and checkout is at 10am, you are paying all that money for 18 hours, of which approximately 9 of those are sleeping.

"Couldn’t be any worse"

3.0

The house was big, it was in a great location.

To start, the front picture of the house are that of the next door neighbours and not the house that is advertised. The key box doesn’t work, we arrived on a dark wet afternoon, to get to the key box you have to remove a black cover, this left black all over my hands, the key box was already open as it had seized up, you couldn’t close it. It’s also odd that it’s around the side of the house and not near the front door.. on leaving, we left it as we found it, unfortunately, although it was a dry sunny day, I got black all over my hands again, putting the key back, but I couldn’t close the box as it was impossible. Completely run down, curtain pole fell on my OH head when we tried to close the blinds in the living room, this cut his head.. we are fuming!!. The whole house is in need of a complete rewire as lights on appliances were flickering when in use. One smoke alarm down stairs, none upstairs!.Despite previous reviews, the downstairs bedroom still has a clear glass door, offering zero privacy, odd because it’s the only room in the house that has a decent blind and curtain that gives privacy from outside. Blinds or curtains left huge gaps, so zero privacy from outside. Oven knob was missing, kitchen door hanging off, broken mirror in living room, broken floor tiles in utility and bathroom, shower door hanging on by one fixing instead of 4, socket so far off the wall that my grandson could have easily put his fingers in the gap, a random pipe sticking out of the wall, radiators not working and the valves broken off… then cleanliness, the limescale on the taps is vile, I always strip the beds before leaving somewhere and the stains on the mattress protector and quilts are disgusting, the pillows are so bad that there was two flat awful pillows put in each pillow case.. the list goes on and on unfortunately and I’m not even being picky or trying to find things wrong. This house could be a beautiful place to stay, but not until it’s had a complete renovation.

The house was a really lovely size especially with there being 9 of us! The dining room was definitely the main attraction a really big space perfect for socialising for my birthday having food and drinks before going out.

The dining room lights and plug sockets did not work, meaning when it got later we were almost in the dark- this didn’t affect us too much as we were leaving to go out!

We had a really great time at the accomodation! It's perfect for a large group! The house was very spacious and well equipped with all the facilities/ammenities we required during our stay. The property was easy to access and located in a lovely neighbourhood, which felt very safe. There was also plenty of parking available for all of our cars. Staff were easy to contact and quick to respond over call and through the Booking.com messaging feature.

The door to the bedroom downstairs was see-through and didn't have a privacy screen The was a bit of a cigarette smoke odour to the living room and conservatory

The location was ideal for what we wanted.

The decor is looking a little tired.

"I think that house needs a total refurbishment."

1.0

Location was great.

The property was tired and dirty. Floors were not cleaned, bathroom floor was wet, no towels. And it felt like they haven’t changed the sheets (blood on the pillow etc). Kitchen cupboards are broken, dishwasher filthy. Key safe didn’t work. One of them is broken.

Large living space, plenty of seating and enough rooms that group can either be all together or spread out. Kitchen had more than enough plates, glasses and bowls for our group of 12 and is actually wider than it looks in the photos. 4 of 5 bedrooms large doubles and last room small double. Family bathroom very big. Nice touch with the small pool table, was popular with the kids. Lovely area, within walking distance of shops and places to eat. Right next to wollaton park.

Garden had 4 chairs, and it would have been nice to have more outside furniture. We were out in the city most of the time so this wasn't a necessity and didn't affect our experience.

Lovely home. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Location was great for us as visiting family close by, but also easy to get to central Nottingham on bus. Would be great for a large group or family get together.

No tumble dryer even though one was listed in the description and had trouble with getting the key from the lockbox. Although hosts were very responsive to our messages.
