Little Apple Cottage- Free Parking, Hot tub, Fire, Town Centre

Location excellent and the property it’s self was really nice and homely

Great location, close to the centre and 2 minute walk to lovely path along the river. Very comfortable rooms and well equipped kitchen. Laura responded quickly to any questions, thank you.

Easy to find and well located. Comfortable and very cosy. Kitchen well equipped and very clean.

Third bedroom up in attic could only be accessed via bedroom 2 which had the bathroom to serve both bedroom. Not ideal if you have to get up during the night. Some of the hot tub jets didn’t work, but this didn’t spoil our stay.

Clean and close to the town

It’s dog friendly but when you get there it’s states No dogs upstairs ( which had we known we would have booked somewhere else).

Appleby is a really nice small town, the location of the cottage is excellent. The pubs and shops are a few minutes walk so very accessible. It's only a short drive to the lakes so a good base without actually being in the middle of things (probably good at busy times of year). The cottage is well equipped, very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the large hottub. Laura (the host) was very helpful

The beds were a little soft for us but that is just personal choice.

Location superb. Hot tub superb although difficult to discover how to turn on lights leading to it. Kitchen had everything we needed including tea, coffee, sugar and a few other food items. Spacious property. TVs everywhere. Plenty of dishes and glassware. Master bedroom and en suite excellent. Wonderful fireplace. Heating effective once we understood it. Easy access to both Lakes and Dales.

We found the lounge furniture a bit uncomfortable. A bit low and squishy. Second bedroom ok but better for kids. No drawers to put clothes and had to use windowsill for toiletries. En suite shower would benefit from a shower screen which went whole way, a grab rail and a rubber mat for floor. Sink cute but not very practical.

Heerlijk verblijf in Appleby. Huis op leuke locatie. Hottub fijn voor na een actieve dag. Alles is aanwezig in het huis. Wij waren met 4 volwassenen. Prima bedden met elk eigen badkamer met wc. Pub, slager, groenteboer, spar om de hoek. Je kunt voor de deur 2 uur parkeren met kaart, einde van de straat bij het zwembad gratis.
