Gezellig appartement, Gerenoveerd eind 2022

Located in a quiet area, 20 min walk from the train station. Easy check-in, owners prompt in responding though I'm not sure if they speak English as all the messages I got were in local language.

Considering we couldn't check-in earlier than the standard time, we at least hoped for a spotless place. It was mostly tidy, but it could have used a more proper vacuum and make sure no toys were left behind. Also the bathroom doesn't have a sink, the only one is in the living room/kitchen

It was clean except for the bugs

No parking, owner lives on the grownd floor . She didn't let us talk . I don't recomand. It's a very small apartment

The apartment is very well located on a quiet street. There are many playgrounds around, a grocery store, and a laundromat within a 5-minute walk. Other amenities are also reachable by foot. The train station is easily accessible by bus. The apartment is very cozy and has everything one needs for a simple stay in Tilburg. Communication with the host was easy and very quick, we even received a gift for staying two weeks!

There is no possibility to dispose of garbage yourself so you have to contact the host to organise garbage pick-up. This goes really well but is an extra step one needs to take.

The place was nice and clean and the location is good. The host was friendly and available

Just a few minor things: shower did not drain well, it was a bit cold in the apartment, the cordless vacuum cleaner was full of dust and the filter was clogged so it could not really been used

I have to pay additional tourist tax, even 3.5% were included in the price. There wasn't no oven, even described as microwave oven and oven. We found just microwave oven.

The location of the apartment is good.

(!) The main door was difficult to unlock. Needs multiples tries until you succeed, it was clearly not working well. (!) There is no sink in the bathroom, only in the kitchen. There is no wardrobe or hangers in the apartment. (!) The apartment was not cleaned well. We were asked to pay an additional tourist fee which was not stated anywhere when we booked the apartament.
