It was very messy, dog hair on all the beds, countertops were not wiped off completely. literally human hair ball in the bathroom closet.

The property was a good location for our visit. The place was easy to find and in a quiet neighborhood. It was easy to access with a good. We were able to use the garage and they allowed our pets to stay with us.

The place had not been cleaned AT ALL from the last guests. All the bedding was in a pile at the base of the stairs, some of the trash had not been emptied, the floors and carpet were dirty and the sinks and toilets were not cleaned. I called the after hours number and they said somehow this got over-looked and they would get cleaners over their as soon as possible. I asked if they could let us know when they were done and left to get food. We got a message at about 8:45 letting us know the cleaning was done. When we arrived, we found that was not accurate, they were still there and said they only got their assignment at 7pm. They did finally finish and we were able to get unloaded and settled, but it was after 10PM. We basically lost a whole evening in the house. It was apparent as the week went on that it was a rush job. There was a load of sheets in the dryer that still had to finish drying. There was a load of towels that was in the washer. I had to finish drying the sheets in order to dry the towels so that everyone could have enough towels for showering. The whole place had an unkept feeling. There were dust and cobwebs on the window sills of the upstairs bedrooms. The back patio was overgrown with weeds that contained a whole host of little flying bugs, Everytime we opened the back door to let the dogs out, they would swarm into the house. We kept finding dead ones on the table from the light fixture above. The baby is crawling and as she was going around the living room carpet her knees and socks were turning dark from dirt. It was more than just having a rushed cleaning from before. The shower heads in the Master Bathroom are clogged so you only get a about half the stream. I do not know about the other showers. The thermostat has a sign that states the theromast can't be set below 73 degrees or there would be a charge. When we got there is was set at 68 degrees. We attempted to change it but it requested a PIN to make adjustments.
