L’emplacement , très difficile d’accès en scooter et en voiture ainsi que les routes sont dangereuses ( trou , cailloux, poussière, chiens …. )

Guter Kontakt zum Gastgeber. Fantastischer Empfang mit Getränken und Kokosnüssen aus dem Garten. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und sehr schön eingerichtet. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und unbeschreiblich schön. Amed ist mit Motorroller gut erreichbar. Mehrere Strände zum Schnorcheln in der Nähe. Wärmstens zu empfehlen.

We had an overall good experience at the house, and I’d like to share some honest feedback to highlight both what we loved and areas that could use improvement. I hope this helps make future stays even better for your guests! 1. The indoor area with the kitchen: It was spacious and well-equipped, making it a great spot to relax and cook. 2. The pool: A very nice feature that added to our stay. 3. The host, Hal: He was exceptionally friendly and proactive. For example: 4. He went above and beyond to address issues like the AC in the top room not working on arrival. 5. He found a creative solution for the large gap between the doors, where flies and mosquitoes could enter, by covering it with duct tape. 6. As a thoughtful gesture, he left us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. Hal’s responsiveness and willingness to fix things made a big difference in our experience.

While we enjoyed our stay, there were a lot of small things that could be improved as they did affect the overall experience: 1. Bathroom mirror: In one of the bathrooms, the mirror was placed on the ground, making it impractical for use at the sink. A wall-mounted mirror would be more functional. 2. Hand soap: The soap in the top room was empty upon check-in. It would be great to have these checked and refilled before guests arrive. 3. Kitchen chairs: There were only three chairs at the kitchen table, even though we were a group of four. 4. Lighting issues: A broken light in the living room was flickering, which was a bit distracting. 5. Bed linen and pillows: The polyester bed linen felt uncomfortable, as it doesn’t breathe well and can get itchy and sweaty. The pillows were quite high and caused neck discomfort. Perhaps consider more breathable bedding and lower pillows. 6. External noise: - The construction next door was noisy due to well drilling, which is, of course, outside your control but worth noting for guests. - Dogs barking across the street made the garage area less inviting. - While driving to the property, there were also territorial dogs barking at motorbikes, which might be intimidating for less experienced riders. 7. Road to the house: The road leading to the house was quite rough, with large rocks. It feels a bit unsafe for anyone not confident on a motorbike. This might be worth mentioning to guests so they can plan accordingly. 8. Booking Communication: When I booked, I had asked a question that was only replied to 1-2 days later, which was a bit inconvenient at the time. Another person responded to this instead of Hal, and I already shared this feedback with Hal upon arrival. Improving response times during the bo We really appreciated the effort Hal put into making our stay enjoyable despite the small hiccups.
