Right from the get-go, our hosts showered us with a thoughtful welcome gift, setting a warm and inviting tone for our stay. The lodge itself was a pristine haven—immaculate and well-maintained. The thoughtful touches didn't stop there; the provision of essentials like coffee, tea, sugar, and even dishwashing liquid added a layer of convenience that we truly appreciated. However, the real showstopper was the enclosed braai area, offering panoramic views that could steal your breath away, especially during the enchanting sunsets. Lodge 70 turned our getaway into an unforgettable experience, leaving us eager to return for more moments of serenity and scenic beauty.

We didn't have any meals at the house, but the house has everything you would need. The wine is a nice touch and makes you feel welcome. Bertus is an excellent host and really goes out of his way to check that everything is fine.

Amazing house, impressive ocean views, we loved every moment we spent in it. It's got everything you need. A big thank you to Bertus who has been a fantastic host and helped us and advised us through our stay. We will repeat as soon as possible.
