They actually saved us from a bad situation. Someone decided to let us know 1 night before we checked in to their vacation home that we were canceled due to a problem. I saw the email from them next morning, and that's when we were supposed to check in. Kudos to Kumar's Vacation Home...loved it there, very convenient, bank machines closed by at Mecure and R B Patel centrepoint shopping center, restaurants other shops close by. I called the owner on the day we were checking out if we could stay till 6.30pm since our flight back to Vancouver, Canada, was at night, and our check-in with Fiji Airways was 7pm. He called me back and said we could, so we paid an extra $100 for that, and they had some guest who were supposed to check in that day, but they were late.

One of the two sinks in the kitchen was leaking, which was the one on the right. The glass coffee table in the living room should be replaced. One of the legs was broken, and being glass, someone could easily get injured. They need to fix one of the burners. There were 4 gas burners, 3 small ones were working except for the bigger one. The housekeeper had mentioned this to us, and we accepted it. Also, there were bed bugs in the living room couch, and we had to buy a bed bugs spray from Grace supermarket, which did the job. I was a bit concerned about the bed sheets and duvet bed cover. They weren't freshly cleaned ones. We also noticed the housekeeper not bringing a load of clean sheets and etc with them that evening. They only had cleaning bucket mops and etc. They were there to collect the key and clean the house. There's a lot of nightclubs in the area. We didn't have a problem, really, from the noise was just for a couple of hours anyway. But overall, we kind of liked it there, and I told the housekeeper that if we were going back in December this year, we would probably stay there again unless they fixed all the problems. She was nice and very friendly and she even explained about the other property as well in case we wanted a bigger place. Vinaka Tina.

Location was perfect. Close to supermarket and eateries. Comfortable beds & air-con. Washing machine handy for when required. Service of apartment staff made it so much more easier and staff always a text message away if we required help with anything, thank you.

Privacy was good.

No daily housekeeping. After a few days of my return I was suprised to receive a claim against me that I damaged bed and mattress. The host did not do a physical check out before my depature from the property which complicates this claim. The host changed mobile contact numbers during my stay and when the claim was brought up against me that second number was blocked. I would recommend prospective guests to do a thorough check of furnitures before use to avoid unfortunate incidents like mine. I feel unjustly accused.

The place is close to the bar, shopping centre and restaurants. The place was clean and tidy. You have a washing machine

If you don't like noise. You can hear the music from the clubs but it stops at 1.30am. It didn't bother us we like being close to everything.
