Apartment 43 Citygate with Free Onsite Gym

Spacious with good mood lighting.

No large mirror for getting ready with. Hair drying hair with table in living room as no large meals.

Was beautiful and clean not too far from everything

The location was excellent, very close to parking and a stones throw away from the city centre, well within walking distance. The apartment itself was a home from home, very comfortable and fully kitted out.

TV in lounge didn’t do anything (no Ariel) but this didn’t matter as we weren’t there to watch the tele. Also, bed was a tad soft/springy, if this could be upgraded to a better mattress then I’d honestly have nothing to say here!

Had a gym/ washer dryer combo worked for us

One very small negative maybe a mirror in bedroom for doing makeup and hair

Size of apartment and location. Big windows Washing Machine

30 £ for checking in after 7pm for the " antisocial hours " of the person bringing the keys. Person was there 10 minutes maximum. Flat was next to a fire door. Whenever anyone passed through this door it made a loud bang closing. Kitchen was generally OK but the details were lacking : only one bin bag for two weeks, one piece of alu foil installed in oven with no roll of foil to be found. no bread knife ( try cutting bread with a Paring knife ! ) Flat had a washing machine which worked great, but who takes washing tabs/ powder on holiday ? Had to buy a pack for using the machine twice. Hopefully those I left will be left for the next guests Headboard on bed needs a good clean, On last day lift did not work.

It is clean, well looked after, and the free onsite gym is a nice bonus.

The only real issue is the fire door just outside the flat. The sound when it closes is extremely loud, and it slams every time someone comes or goes. It can be quite frustrating, especially during the night or early morning.

The location is 7-8 mins outside the wall and we have easy walk into the old city. The apt is spacious and lots of room. Security is good.

I would like shower gel and shampoo provided and a bit more cooking supplies.
