Art Deco 4 Bedrooms Flat in the City Center

Fully equipped house, ideal for groups. Not the best neighborhood but safe and walking distance to city center.

The property needs some maintenance.

All amenities are available and the flat is a good size. There is a bright front room, dining room and back bedroom which has a pretty ornate ceiling. There is also a washing machine. The location is great. In the middle of some very interesting parts of Lisbon and gorgeous parks.

Maybe it was Booking.com’s issue, but I didn’t receive check-in instructions until I was literally arriving at the very run-down entrance and dark and dingy inner stairwell. From outside, the building looked abandoned. If I was expecting this price from my clients I would clean the external front door and the very dirty surround, and put a light outside and brighter lights inside the hallway for security On the hallway stairs from the ground to the first floor the light didn’t work. Also at some point there had been a fire in the stairwell - showing burn-marks up the wall and on the stairs and this hadn’t been redecorated so also didn’t inspire confidence In other parts of the apartment, it is incredibly dark and the flat backs onto a massive building.that is being demolished quite loudly. The builders walk around the fire-escape to this building 6 days a week, which backs straight onto the.kitchen window. I had to make sure I was dressed. The hosts might want to put up a curtain. The apartment is pretty clinical but ok. It has basic tatty furniture.and could do with more homely things like hooks & shelves in the bathroom etc. Also the Coffee machine didn’t work Wi-Fi also didn’t work for the first day.. The host was not very friendly and there was sporadic contact from owners at best when needed. There was a list of really punitive house rules and penalty fines listed. No more towels are allowed, for example. Why?
