City View- near Downtown, Capital, NC State

The house was very spacious and modern! We appreciated the large kitchen/eating area as well as the large bedrooms and large master bath. The location was convenient to downtown! Nice little donut shop a stone's throw away from the property. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed except kitchen towels and salt.

Wish there was a bench in the master bath and the shower handles were labeled so you could easily tell which handle operated which faucet. There were no hooks to hang up clothes before showering or towels, wash cloths, loofas after showering. Master bedroom had no place to hang clothes or put our luggage. Roller shades in the master bedroom pulled all the way down so that they no longer work. Front steps VERY slick after a rain - my daughter-in-law slipped and fell on the step. No hand rail. She was bruised but nothing broken. Dishwasher emanating a terrible odor from not completing its cycle? The soap was gummy in the dispenser. We had to manually clean the dishwasher and run it without dishes to get rid of the smell. There was only one kitchen towel to use so we had to get hand towels meant for the bathroom to use in the kitchen.

Great property with a great host!

There was quite a bit of noise between the train tracks down the road and what seemed to be a generator or something outside of the living room window. Once you tuned it out though, all was okay!
