Dinateli Houses - Live like a local in Corfu

Cozy and comfortable village house in the countryside. Lovely decoration while maintaining the rural essence.

The property is located by the main road in a small village, so it can get quite noisy due to traffic specially in high season, which can bother particularly during the night. Bring earplugs for a tight sleep.

Be careful with booking Dinateli House - in fact it consists of two properties and the one that I was given didn't reflect the description and stated facilities. There was no terrace "under the lemon tree," instead a rather dank, small veranda, and no washing machine. It consisted of two interconnected rooms which faced directly onto a busy and noisy road. There were no mosquito nets and plenty of mosquitos. The upside was the host was charming but unable to move me to what appeared to be quieter property at the rear of the house - with the terrace!

Location, peace, had everything we needed, fresh lemons, small snack when arrived.
