Hillcrest - Central 2 Bed Flat with Parking

This flat is absolutely perfect!! It has everything you might need, and more. Marta made sure we would have a cot for our 2 year old son and we could let him sleep in the second bedroom, just like home, so it turned out perfectly for us! The living room was very cozy and the fireplace was so fun to cuddle in front of. Before our stay, we received a detailed guidebook that answered all our questions and gave incredible recommendations before we could even think of them. For the few questions we did have the staff (Nile and everyone) answered and were so kind and polite. The flat has many informative books about the area and board games for families with children. The kitchen has everything you need and the toilet was super clean and have amazing emneties. The flat is very tastfully decorated and very welcoming, so much so that you almost wouldn't want to go out of it for a day of travelling! Perfect for families!

The rubbish bin was a bit small and the kitchen floor was a bit dusty. The beds were rather low and narrow and the mattress wasn't all that comfortable, a bit hard.

Perfect base from which to explore Windermere and the Lake District. The flat is warm and welcoming, with a fully stocked kitchen. Marta and her staff were so helpful in organising a surprise birthday hamper - thank you!

4pm check in is really a bit late.

A lovely and very clean and cosy place to spend a few days. Very well equipped with all the things you need in a kitchen, including coffee, tea, cleaning materials, dish washer etc. Nicely decorated throughout and really cosy and warm. Netflix is included as are board games for wet days and nights. Private driveway and very close to centre of town. Really lovely.

I requested non-feather bedding due to allergies but this could not be accommodated. I have never stayed anywhere before where this request could not be accommodated. I didn't think that nipping down to the local supermarket for a £20 duvet, which could be used over and over again was too much to ask, but it meant I had to drive 140 miles in an already full vehicle with my duvet and pillows on board. I fully realise that I could have gone elsewhere, but we really liked the look of this place which was really lovely but this could have been resolved easily.

Great location and the property was lovely. It was clean, cosy and just what we needed for our family weekend away! We have recommended to friends and would definitely return!
