Poppy Cottage - Cosy 2 Bedroom, Perfect for Family!

It's a lovely old cottage. Original beams and stone floors with rugs. The kitchen and bathroom were tastefully decorated. It was lovely and warm despite the wild weather and we had a wonderful couple of days together. The location is a very quaint English village but still very close to Stratford.

Any negatives were so minor that it would be unfair to mention them.

We(myself, partner, daughter, and dog) wanted a short break away from home and work. Somewhere to just chill, but close to Stratford as we love it there. The house is beautiful, cosy, warm, comfortable, and heaped in history (google it, it's fascinating). It's got everything you would expect from an 18th-century cottage. The low ceilings and doorframes, wonky floors, and creaky doors, the stairs are challenge!! But also the comforts we expect these days, such as comfy beds and a powerful shower. I'd advise you to go for a walk around Clifford Chambers as the surrounding houses are stunning. I would definitely recommend staying here, and I will 100% be returning. (It would have been a 10/10 if there had been a microwave.)

Our only moan would be that there's no microwave. I've never stayed anywhere there hasn't been one and we were really surprised by this.

Nice quiet road lovely church and pub just a short stroll, cosy and comfortable.

It was just perfect exactly what we wanted for a quiet weekend with the dogs and exceptional clean and comfortable I really couldn’t fault it.

Cottage was immaculate, furnishings of great quality. Beds comfy. Everything we needed. Location perfect for Stratford upon Avon
