The place really roomy. Plenty of space and clean. Also a breaker was tripped late evening on sat night and a maintenance worker came late hours and got things working again

Initial owner lacked any respect when replying to initial arrival.

This is the great lodge. I do not want to leave a good comment as I do not want people finding this place out.

It has been a while since I found a place that I would love to stay another night on a business trip. When I was told that my business trip got extended, I was actually happy to stay one more night in this place. I strongly recommend this place.

There's not much I can say about disappointment. Probably temperature control of each room. One inside was well-controlled, but one next to the back door was quite cold.

Clean, lots of room, close to everything

This is a large 2br 1.5 bath 1st floor duplex. It was clean, with clean comfortable linens. Kitchen has what is needed to make a meal. It's a great value too, and I got a discount for booking for 7 nights. It's close to capital, historic down town, and you can hop on the bus to go to MSU sporting events. The building it's self is a cute older building. I think there is 2 units in building. There is a unit above but both have private entrances. I was worried about it being cold or drafty but kept the heat well. After we were there for a few days we asked for clean/extra towels and that afternoon a housekeeper came knocking with fresh towels.

It was nice, clean, and quiet area. There were people in above unit all week which was fine too. Didn't notice they were there. No issues really. If I had to say a negative it was the neighbor upstairs the last night had kids running, and screaming all night, and a poor baby that cried all night. Even with that I was able to sleep so it has decent noise barriers too.

The living room was cozy and chairs were comfortable. There was an extra blanket in the closet to compensate for a chilly room.

We had to drive around the block twice because we couldn't imagine our rental could be the house with five large Trump signs covering half the first floor façade, including the window. Between that and the house next door, which apparently shares an owner and was even more decked out, it felt like walking into campaign headquarters. There were other problems. We could not sleep well because the beds were extremely soft. Half the apartment was chilly and there wasn't a way to control the heat. And, the property manager was hostile and condescending on the phone (there was no mention of politics, that's just how he spoke to me.) One more note about signs: this is not about free political expression, it's about providing an environment that isn't destined to turn off at least half of your guests. I never would have booked this property if the signs were in the photos, and once we saw them we were stuck.
