What a wonderful and charming home away from home! Cathy welcomed to me and gave me a wonderful tour to get acclimated to the home and the neighborhood. I was just minutes from the strand in one direction and minutes from the beach in the other. I really enjoyed the breakfast both mornings and the coffee is to die for.!! I love Kona coffee!

Being a historic building, upkeep, and repairs can be a challenge. It could use some updating and painting around the property. It was a wonderful experience and I plan on coming back!

"Wonderful historical place"

We loved the old house vibe and the big beautiful room with a nice big bathroom. It was nice to sit in a bacony and watch the quiet street full of historical buildings. The location in the historical certer was perfect. It was easy to walk to a restaurants from there.

We could not adjust the ait conditioning of the room. It was set to a bit too cold to our taste.

"Lovely restored mansion with excellent service in the historic part of Galveston"

Lovely restored mansion run by a wonderful concierge and staff. A free happy hour and breakfast was offered. The concierge, Aaron also gave us great historical tour of the neighborhood in the hotel's carriage.

Our bed could have been more comfortable.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Absolutely gorgeous historical building, the lobby areas and bedrooms are unique, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is located within close walking distance from the historical district with restaurants and shops and they provide low cost shuttles to the cruise ports. The host Aaron was very engaging and knowledgeable about the history of the building and of Galveston. The room cost includes breakfast in their dining room. This is a full breakfast, with several choices on the menu, and it was delicious. I highly recommend!

There was nothing that we did not like.
