"Gorgeous Tudor building needing rooms upgrading"

A revisit to my home town and a stay in a place we visited frequently as a family and was always a special evocative Tudor experience with lots of charm. The exterior remains as lovely today and the village of Tutbury

The rooms and bathrooms are very dated and very much need renovating. The restaurant has lost its boutique charm with a particularly officious and rude man on duty. The food was quite adequate

The location of the property and the gorgeous architecture and how the building has been preserved and stayed with the historical period of things

Not the property as much. Mainly the breakfast. We had ordered the full breakfast which was served to us cold. The avocado on the bloomer bread was off.
