Marmite trop petit pour cuisiner surtout si on est a plusieurs . Un four qui ne fonctionner pas même après l’intervention d’un électricien. Lit et le grand matelas dans la dernière chambre du haut qui n’étais pas confortable on as eu beaucoup de douleurs. Lampe qui ne pouvais être brancher dans la prise car manque l’embout pour brancher. Ampoule grillé dans le wc du bas et a quelque lampe. Salle de bain qui fuît en haut en temps de pluie. Fauteuil pas au confort si quelqu’un veux dormir dedans. La porte a l’arrière difficile a fermer. Débit d’eau a revoir pour les wc. A ce prix sa sera bien un passage de femme de ménage une fois minimum par semaine. Vu la distance du Super U ce serais bien d’avoir a disposition un caddie a roulette pour les course. Je dit sa non par critique mais au contraire pour que le propriétaire s’améliore sur cette location. Propriété a disposition si besoin par waatsap

We liked the fact that the property is actually close to the sea - close to shopping, close to restaurants and has a pool. We also liked that each room, well, almost each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom and shower. It was also secure and away from the public.

Well, what we didn't like. The apartment is dated and needs refurbishment. The cutlery also needs replacing, especially some pots whose handles were loose making cooking very clumsy. There is no drinking water and no filter. Bottles of water have to be purchased daily. No dish washer. The rubbish bin is too small and fills up quickly - needs a larger one. The WIFI is weak and is only accessible on the ground floor. Once on the first floor, no WIFI - I believe this had been complained about previously, but nothing was done. The owner has promised this will be fixed THIS TIME. My daughter was not able to sleep in her bed - that bed's mattress was old, torn and stained. The fan in that bedroom is broken and doesn't work. On the second floor, bedroom 3, there is a bedside lamp with no plug. The second-floor bathroom cabinet sits on a pile of bricks and the bathtub enclosing walls come apart and need to be secured. The flatscreen TV is old and analogue and very hard to operate. Although the property is close to the sea, it is not possible to swim there. One has to walk some 400M to main beach. We were 9 persons, and the dining table only sits 6, a little awkward. (Stools were provided later) - The lounge is too small and there are four small sofas and a glass table - there were not enough sheets and towels for 9 people, and no beach towels - (Owner bought some after complaints). The pool was not cleaned for 10 days and ended up being green with algae and other unpleasant stuff. There are NO CHAIRS around the pool and the grassy area is poor - grass is prickly. DESPITE ALL OF THE ABOVE, THIS PLACE HAS GREAT POTENTIAL IF CHANGES OCCUR - I have spoken to the owner about all of the above and he has promised to improve matters. Very convenient location for Grand Baie and there is very nice which is not too deep

The owner did go to the trouble to try and improve things but to be honest if quests are paying good money for accommodation they have a right to expect it to be as advertised from day 1. When we arrived there was a lack of sheets and towels but the owner did bring more. The beds are very hard and the owner had mattress toppers made which did improve the situation The property is missing almost any form of decor and some rooms feel like a prison cell. The property has 4 bedrooms but only one gate remote, a 2nd remote is needed. The main problem was the lack of a usable internet connection, we purchased our own SIM cards but 3G is erratic and throttled in that location. For a 4 bedroom property on 4 levels the property really needs a proper fibre based internet connection which I understand the owner is planning to install. A set of guidance notes on the property would also help
