Casa Leah Puerto Escondido Huge Apartment -Zicatela Seaside Luxury Boutique Unit - with 2 outdoor Pools - Just Steps from zicatela and la punta beach - 1

It’s a cool TULUM style - clean and white - simple design - with comfy beds and a nice esthetic hotel. Definitely an upgrade for PE. Nice towels …. Nice sheets and beautiful room layouts. They were kind to allow my service dogs. Abraham (owner) and Carlos ( worker) were cool people and helped us for all we needed. Grateful for their kindness and hospitality. Flor the cleaning girl was great !

Sadly - the property being beautiful interiors - is not so pleasant to stay at as it’s being run by ignorant rude and greedy management. The GM - Jorge a strange gay guy who parties in the rooms of the hotel - was very rude and harassed us about everything he could think of. He loves drama. There is construction 360 degrees around the hotel - very very loud all day long !! There is no road to come in or come out of the hotel - it’s cement / mud slush and cars are even stuck in the mess. ( see photos) So you can’t access the beach and you have to walk through the bacteria mud and construction to go to the beach or you have to walk an extra 15 minutes to get to the beach via roads with aggressive dogs. One day we were literally stuck in the hotel as the road was completely blocked by construction. The internet was very unstable. Could not work online. The cleaning staff towards the end of our stay did not show up anymore and we had no basics provided such as toilet roll ! The pool has too much chlorine and literally deformed my sons eyes because of the reaction to the amount of chlorine. Despite raising concerns I was ignored. So we couldn’t use the pool. We had no hot water the whole time we were at casa Leah as the solar panels don’t really work. So it was cold water showers even on rainy Colder days. The cleaning staff all quit during our stay - so we didn’t get cleaning towards the end of our stay as we needed which led to ALOT of insects in the apartment. You have to ask permission to have anyone visit - including if you are a long stay client. So no privacy or freedom. Many rules.
