Lovely House in Dagenham / Barking with free parking, WiFi & Garden

I liked the free parking. The apartment was in a quiet area so got a good night's sleep.

Beautifully decorated. Felt modern. It was clean throughout. Modern and sleek kitchen. Enough dishes in the units. House was always warm as the boiler was set on a certain temperature so we didn’t need to touch it. Perfect for a family with children. Bedrooms were clean. Had full length mirrors on wardrobe-very important when dressing up! Owner was very friendly and helpful. She was kind enough to let us have a later checkout at 12pm. I loved the living room was my favourite space. Spacious. Loved the back garden double doors. Driveway was a must for us so thats another reason we picked this property

Nothing major. Just a few things to note. The property had a strong weird smell around the house. Think previous visitors smoked in the property although it clearly states no smoking. Front door handle was very difficult to lock due to being faulty. One of the double bed base was broken towards the headboard so we placed our pillows on the foot end. Bathroom door lock was broken/loose. Bathtub is dangerously slippy so would recommend a slip proof mat. Also some sort of sponge mop to soak up the water from the floor after a shower would help. Found a bucket & mop downstairs. To make the stay more comfortable, it would have been helpful to have shampoo & shower gel, air freshener for bathroom! Not enough toilet rolls left for 6 people sharing one bathroom. However there was a local shop (co-op) nearby to grab all that.

Really clean and comfortable accommodation. Bright and well presented. Everything you need at the property really. Located in a quiet area. The host Sonia is very professional and responsive to all queries. We booked last minute but everything was ready for us. Was a family of 4. 2 adults, 2 kids and this was a great base for visiting family and days out. Will book again.

1.Overalls accommodation was great but two small changes to consider would be more towels available- had 1 each but extra for hair wash etc would have been good. Bedrooms are really bright-so bright from 6amish. Some black-out curtains/blinds would help this.
