Michael's Gate large Apartment in a 15th-Century Building, Old Town

Fabulous location, lovely host

Stairs could do with better lighting, entrance hallway needs work.

I loved my stay at this gem of a place. The apartment is spacious, clean and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is unbeatable and Martina is the loveliest, friendliest of hosts.

There is no elevator, which wasn't an issue for me, but it could be challenging for some, especially with a few flights of spiral stairs.

Great place straight in the old town, near the gate. The apartment is well designed and spacious with kitchen, living room, double bed and bathroom in a cool old building. Communication with host was excellent as well. Great value for money proposition as well, it's a perfect find.

Not an issue for us, but to reach the apartment it's a few stairs up, so might not be suitable for less abled people. Also since it's straight in old town, it's occasionally a little noisy .

The house is very clean and situated exactly in the city centre, in one of the old Gates to the medieval city. The hostess, Martina, was waiting for us in the apartment, was very helpful and polite, and it was easy to communicate with her during check in. She also kept our suitcases after checkout for few hours. The place is renovated, and has inside everything you may need. We really enjoyed our stay there.

You have to take in mind that you are visiting the medieval part of the town, and that you stay in the 3rd floor of a building from the 15th century. So, no elevator, and a lot of stairs, even inside the house. They are now under reconstruction to be more safer, as we are not knights running up to fight with the dragon. Some attention is needed also with the stairway lights, as they are tricky on how they stay on.

The hostess was lovely and polite. The location is 10/10.

The place was very clean and situated close to the center. The place is recently renovated and has all the needed accomodations. We really enjoyed our stay here.
