Not enough toilet roll provided, water ran through shower screen onto floor in bathroom which will cause damp.

The location was ok for our trip.

The instructions for key code were only sent over on the day of arrival, we did not see e mails with code. The property is managed by a Third Party not based in the UK, although paid through Booking.com. If owners are going to allow pets, deeper cleaning processes must be carried out. We could tell that dogs had recently been at the property!

Comfortable cottage that was well maintained. Everything had been thought of.

Didn't dislike anything. Although a better mat at the front would be good. Had bad weather, and the council had cut the grass out front.

Smoke alarm was going off every 30 seconds on day of arrival, not good first night as difficult to sleep. Contacted agent and it was sorted next day.

The communication with the owner was good and the check in was easy. The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean as well as the beds being really comfortable. We would recommend the cottage to others and we would definitely stay there again.

The cottage's location offered a perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. Whether it was sipping a morning cup of coffee or enjoying a glass of wine as the sun set, the garden provided the perfect backdrop for moments of relaxation.

This was a lovely property, and the views as promised in the advert certainly didn't disappoint. Hett is a quiet and friendly village, with nice short walks in the area. An ideal location for us visiting family and friends in Durham and the surrounding area!

There were no egg cups in the kitchen which would have been nice. And the shower was a little bit short - I'm quite tall. Other than that, everything was great!

Very quiet and comfortable.
