The location was fantastic, and in reality so was the apartment but the host reduced me to tears and threatened to throw us out.

I had attempted to reach the host via the booking.com app on several occasions before travel with no response. I emailed him directly and asked him how I collect the keys and pay him the city tax. I got a response back which didn't answer my question to about the keys. It just said that I was required to email with my arrival time 2 hours before arriving. I emailed the night before again asking about the keys. No response. I emailed on the day of arrival 6 hours before arriving to tell him of our arrival time. No response. We arrived at the address and I had to pay a local (we are Australian with very poor Italian) to help us telephone the host. He did answer the call and he kept yelling over the phone and I couldn't understand his instructions. He said that he would be there in 5 minutes - that I did understand. 30 minutes later he hadn't arrived and we called him again. He was furious and again said he'd be there in 5 minutes. This time he did turn up and he yelled at me for not just pushing the building door open. He'd unlocked it remotely from his phone. I have never encountered that before. Nonetheless we wouldn't have known which was our apartment. He ended up screaming at the me that it was his family day and I had disturbed his time with his family and we should just get out. It degenerated into a screaming match and only recovered when my husband stepped in to stop the yelling. I paid the host an additional 50 Euro (100 Australian dollars) for taking him away from his family on a Sunday (but it's not like he didn't know he had a booking). I also told the host that I had emailed him both the night before and that morning to advise of our arrival time. He said he hadn't received the emails. 24hours later he emailed me back saying that he did get my emails but hadn't read them. He kept the additional 50 Euros though.... We loved the apartment but being reduced to tears by the host is not...

La ubicación del lugar. Está ubicado en un lugar muy cerca los más importantes lugares para visitar desde el punto de vista de turismo. muchos accesos a restaurantes, transporte público, tiendas de ropa, a 10 minutos a pie de la estación de tren, entre otras cosas. El anfitrión estuvo muy atento desde antes de llegar. Me dio las indicaciones correctas para encontrar el departamento y acceder a las llaves. Si volvería a alojarme alli.

Me parece que en verano es indispensable tener en mejor estado los ventiladores, sólo habían dos y uno de ellos estaba un poco defectuoso (era ruidoso y no ventilaba mucho). Creo que es mejor tener aire acondicionado.

Very central, lots of character

Location in historic centre of Torino very handy. Important things all worked OK in the apartment.

It’s fine, just a bit ‘unloved’. Kitchen/living room furniture could be upgraded to make a more welcoming environment - needs a comfy chair for example. But overall meets travellers’ needs.

Attic space very hot and traffic noise .
