Casa de Huespedes Real 2

This was a solid "very good" apartment. Basic but large rooms with good kitchen facilities. Shower water flow a little low but plenty of hot water. A little hard to find the first time but "Casa Camino Real" on Googlemaps is where it is. A few minutes walk into town for sites and restaurants. Very quiet- no turkey gobbling at night for us.

Het appartement was erg mooi en modern. Personeel was vriendelijk! Op een paar minuten lopen vanaf het centrum van Mitla.

Er was in de nacht veel geluid van honden en de kalkoen.

Die Unterkunft zu finden war wirklich schwierig, sie ist total versteckt. Check-in gab es praktisch gar nicht – es ist einfach eine Familie, die ein kleines Haus vermietet. Rundherum laufen Hühner und Hähne herum, und die machen morgens richtig Krach. Warmwasser gibt es nicht und der Wasserdruck ist super niedrig. Duschen oder Haare waschen ist echt eine Qual. Es werden keinerlei Services angeboten. Kein Shampoo, kein Duschgel. In vier Tagen habe ich nur zwei Handtücher bekommen – und das zweite musste ich zweimal nachfragen. Ganz ehrlich: nicht empfehlenswert

The king bed was very comfortable, the two rooms spacious and clean, and Selene was very informative, friendly, and provided us with an electric kettle, various kinds of tea, microwave, and toaster oven. The location is a 10 minute walk to the Mitla ruins and church.

While the advantage of this location is the it one of a few units, less busy than Centro, it was hard to find from the information provided on Booking.com. One suggestion is to state that guests need to call her phone number on the day of arrival, so that Selene will know when to meet exact them and provide them with specific directions. Selene could also make sure to include the address in the listing—Camino Real 2, as a place to meet up, to guide guests to the driveway to the property.

Super clean new build. It was nice and quiet and good to get away from the city for a couple of nights. Mitla had a lot to offer, too with it's natural beauty, ruins, and artisans.

It was a tiny bit hard to find. Google will take you in the right direction but use the map in booking to see the correct location.
