Super 8 South by Wyndham

Not much.

There were obvious flooding damage in room 102 the inside of the door on the bottom 3 inches there were obviously damaged from flooding. The carpeting felt icky and wasstained. the nightstand drawer had water damage as well, which totally doesn’t make any sense whatsoever and there were stains on the bed spread. Then on the last night, a bug was crawling on the bedspread.

The fifty dollar deposit should have been a warning! Fresh paint but the same super 8 I stayed at a year ago. Furniture old and torn, bathroom dirty, thermostat didn't work. Even the waffle maker had an out of order sign on it.

The rooms are very outdated and could use new beds, carpet and some freshening up

I booked because of the good reviews but I guess those were for the non smoking rooms? We booked a smoking room. It was disgusting. Looked and smelled like it had never been cleaned. Do smoking customers not deserve a clean room that does not wreak? There were cigarette burns in the blankets. The curtain sheers were yellow. And there was the most filthy chair I’ve ever seen in a hotel room. Stained all over. Absolutely filthy. The ONLY reason we didn’t leave was because we were exhausted from driving all day and the sheets were clean.

There were dead bugs in the corners , top comforter blanket wasn’t cleaning and throw blanket had a cigarette burn hole in it even though I was in a non smoking stay.
