Privacy , spacious common areas.

Caregiver was not attentive at all !! Only saw her the day we checked in. Didn’t ask if we needed anything during our stay. For a party of 8 we only were given 2 rolls of toilet paper. I had to request additional toilet paper, dish soap , cleaning supplies and request for cleaning of bathroom was neglected. Pool was empty upon our arrival and it took hours for it to fill up. She left the water running unattended never came back and we had to figure out how to stop the water as the pool started over flooding. Pool Does NOT have a filter system. Is a POND in a shape of a pool with no lighting for the nighttime gatherings. We had to request for pool to be emptied after 1 day as the water had a greenish color. Water smelled horrible as the faucet opened. There is an area of pipes with rusted filters so not sure how long these have been in place. Living room area is a walking oven. A/C only in the bedrooms and the only decent room Is the master room. The other rooms are more like Dorms with bunk beds with a peripheral wall sharing the same AC. Pictures on the advertising are accurate, but the overall experience for this stay is a 2 star. If you’re one that expects 5 star move on to your next search. Totally regret paying the nightly rate I paid. Especially cause this is a 3rd Row ranch. I’ve stayed at other ranch’s in San Diego and this is the first time I’m totally unhappy with the outcome. The Barcelo in the city is much more affordable with the luxury of a 5 star accommodation.

The living room and kitchen island at Rancho Sandiego were stunning, providing a beautiful space to bring the family together at the end of the day. The pool was also a hit, offering everyone an enjoyable experience. It truly enhanced our overall stay!

This place is amazing more than what I could ask for .. the family loved it and the kids enjoyed it to the fullest. Wish we could have booked this place for more time. It had easy access to the beach. It was amazing. The entire family is definitely planning on coming back here 100%

Pool needs to have better cleaning systems (pumps) to filter water throughout the day
