This place is truly wonderful and in a perfect place. Metro in right at the plaza and around the apartment are many cafe's, restaurants and bars. And the theater is also at the plaza. You have 2 supermarkets opposite of you. Definitely come back to this place. The owner gives you a pdf file with all the information of what to do and how to get there. Great host.

Very good localization - walking distance to the main "must-see" points of Madrid, 20 minutes walk to Atocha train station. Just next to the apartment - the metro station Tirso de Molina

During the night there was noisy - it was not the problem of the appartment itself but noisy people outside

It was a little inconvenient with the key to enter the flat. I understand the purpose of the setup to avoid losing the key, however, I don't feel completely comfortable and safe knowing that the key is in the lockbox. It is something to get used to.

I dont like that the staff/owner did not explain how to get there and how to access the property. Also the property states that it is for 6 people but in fact it is only for 4-5 people can stay here. We arrived quite late and had difficulties in entering the apartment as it has many layers of security/passcode. Contacted the owner thru whatsapp but no response, knly contact thru booking.com chat. Overall 5/10

Spacious and perfectly located. Good value for money.

The apartamento is renovated from : bathrooms, kitchenette, furniture. It is not far at all from the center. It is just 5 min walking distance to puerta del sol . Et just next a metro station

Y don’t feel secure at all. The main door is very old and can be open by a little breeze. No lock from the inside . One day we came back at the apartment and found the door open. We panicked . And one day while during our stay someone came and open the door having the access code of the appartment. It was a nightmare for us. We left before the end of our stay . Not secure at all. The main door must be changed and the security locks must be improved

The video instructions sent by link in the email did not work due to fire walls in India. So we faced a huge challenge getting into the apartment. No one answered the whatsapp messages. Finally we were somehow able to open the video with great difficulty. ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THE VIDEO IS SENT BY WHATSAPP. LINK DOES NOT OPEN AT TIMES. The cooking range also did not work.

Location is good, apartment very secure, beds comfortable, size of apartment good and well equipped for a few days stay.

The apartment needs decorating especially the windows, shutters and balcony. The front door of the apartment is awful and needs a paint and clean. The apartment wasn’t well cleaned a lot of dust around beds and furniture. As this is a central location a lot of noise during the night but that is to be expected and needs to be considered as the location is very good. On the day of arrival a link is sent to pay and it did not work on my mobile phone, we were at the airport checking in for a flight to Madrid and had to access another device to be able to pay. When I explained I couldn’t access on my phone I had very little help from the hosts and instead they caused more stress with their attitude to the start of our break that wasn’t needed as correspondence is in Spanish which isn’t an issue but had to translate everytime they sent an unhelpful comment. The simple solution to this is not to ask for payment on the day but to pay a few days before which is normally on booking.com and what we are used to and then just send the codes to get in to the apartment on the day.
