Casal de S.Romão do Meio

I liked everything about this place. The hospitality was over and above any I have experienced. On arrival Claudio greeted us and offered home made cuisine plus wines and Port. He had a wonderfully friendly character and was so attentive and informative about the region. The rooms were lovely plus comfortable beds. The location was really beautiful with Claudios vineyards and garden so relaxing to walk through. The swimming pool was again perfect; crystal clear and large. The website does not justify how great this place is. We were all so impressed with the location; hospitality and wish we had booked for more nights! Thank you Claudio! 100% perfect!

The host was waiting for us and gave us a superb reception with a tour of the grounds and a sit down tasting of his finery produce .. The best reception we have ever had in our many years of travels Property Position , and views were lovely . Facilities were perfect Thank you wish we could have stayed a week or more ..

קלאודיניו המארח איש חם ומקסים. קיבל אותנו בלבביות, רגיש לפרטים. על השולחן שאליו הזמין אותנו מיד עם הגעתנו היו דגל פורטוגל ודגל המדינה שלנו. הוא כיבד אותנו ביין תוצרת היקב שלו ובעוגה שהוא אפה מיד עם הגעתנו. החדר נעים ולא חדר מלון סטנדרטי. לחדר מרפסת מדהימה. גם ארוחת הבקר היתה מצויינת. טרם עזיבתנו קלאודיניו דאג לנו למסלול טיולים בעיר גיימאראש ובנקודות עניין בה והכל בשפתנו.

Claudino was such a wonderful host. He showed us around his beautiful property which included fruit trees, a vineyard and a pool. We had our own patio and livingroom as well as access to the kitchen. Fell in love with his little dog, Noddy(sp?). Claudino made dinner for us that was outstanding and very reasonable. Each morning he provided a delicious breakfast. We had such a relaxing time! It was a perfect location to explore Braga and Guimaraes. Claudino also provided information on worthwhile things to see for both places. Also, our bed was very comfortable. Another bonus was private parkinIg. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Absolutely nothing

La tranquilidad, la habitación y zonas comunes. La decoración de los espacios. El recibimiento y trato del anfitrión durante toda la estancia. El que admita mascotas.

Tout était parfait. Accueil, hébergement, environnement mais surtout la restauration de Claudino: petit déjeuner et dîner

The photos of the rooms don’t do it justice, it was far better than that! Besides, Claudino made our stay perfect. We’ll be happy to come back here.

As advertised. Lovely stay with sensational views. Breakfast is a feast and our hosts were very helpful. The property is at the top of the hills but easy to navigate and very private.
