Very Cozy 1 bedroom flat

I booked this cosy room back in March with booking.com as I was attending my grandaughter wedding yesterday I have used your company many times I tried contacting the cosy room but they were unreachable They didnt meet up at the property with the key And I had to contact booking.com who were amazing at first

As above i was attending my grandaughter wedding it was bitter sweet as she had only lost her mother last month 💔 So for this to happen to me and my daughter we had nowhere to stay after the wedding To be offered £19 towards a other booking is your company for real Saturday night at 8pm in Manchester trying to find accommodation is definitely not viable I had to order a uber car to take myself and daughter back to runcorn for the price of £50 You have all my details Ref no and pin So please I will leave it up to you To sort this matter out I want my payment returning to my PayPal account I want to be reimbursed £50 for my uber Also I dont think its a lot to ask for maybe some Compensation for you and the cosy home Ruining what should of been a beautiful day Sorry for the long moan

My boyfriend and I booked this flat for 8 nights and it way exceeded both of our expectations. He is from the area and I was in town visiting and both of us were very pleased. Its within walking distance of a few shoppes, and right across the street from a very nice Pub. It also sets on a street with two main bus routes, one of which is right outside the front door and takes you to Manchester Piccadilly. Communication with the staff was great and quick whenever I messaged as well as cozy on the inside with many amenities that made our stay feel like a home. We are already picking the dates for our next trip with this flat being our room of choice😊.

The location

There were holes in the walls all over the flat, lunch marks in the walls. The shower was impossible to turn off. I contacted the owner about 10 times from 8.30 am. up until they finally answered a call around 2 pm to tell them the issue with the shower. I was assured someone would be round within 30 minutes. This never happened. The shower was on full blast for longer than 24 hrs. I couldn't sleep due to fear of flooding or, worse, a fire. This property should not be advertised as there are so many safety issues in the flat.

Location was good.

It was hard to get hold of the Keyholder or instructions. I tried to book in earlier but got no message through. In the end my son manged to get hold of the person.

It was clean

During my recent stay, I encountered several significant issues that impacted my experience: Delayed Check-In: Upon arrival, I waited over 20 minutes to access the apartment because the previous occupant had not checked out on time. This delay suggests a lack of efficient management, especially considering my reservation was known in advance. Shower Malfunction: The shower was extremely difficult to operate. Turning it on was a struggle, and shutting it off was even more challenging. At one point, water flowed continuously for hours, nearly flooding the bathroom. Despite reaching out, the management was unresponsive, and I had to resolve the issue myself. Lack of Essentials: The room did not provide basic amenities such as soap or shampoo, which are typically expected. Internet Connectivity: The internet service was unreliable and frequently non-functional, causing considerable inconvenience.

Had quite a frustrating experience! Collecting property keys should ideally be a smooth process, especially upon arrival. Waiting for someone to answer the call for half an hour is definitely not ideal, and it can be stressful when you're relying on timely communication for your plans.

Key collection should have been smoother. Also, we were two people and only provided one towel. Need communication to be more better.

The accommodation was nice, it was warm and comfortable

The kitchen was nice and clean but there was only one cup one plate and one bowl

Simple easy place for a few nights. Nothing flash but has everything you need. Great location with lots of food nearby and a shopping centre with large tesco across the road. It said it didn't have wifi, but it did. I also noticed other guests commented on not having much in kitchen. There was plenty glasses plates etc and even a new toothbrush

The back door was locked shut and no key left. Parking is also kinda dodge down next to the abandoned house unless you want to park quite far across road. As it's off a main road bedroom is quite noisy
