Xanadu - A restful place

We stayed for two nights recently as attending a wedding nearby. A lovely place to stay, Kim provided really good comms prior to arriving. Access was easy with the key in a lock box and a phone number to open the gate, good security. Property was very clean, way better than others we have stayed in, host Kim was really friendly and accommodating, and not imposing at all. There was lots of thougtful items in the accomodation should you need them. Also there was breakfast that we had forgotten about, which was great.

Clean. Tidy. Peaceful. Quiet. Had everything and more.

Absolutely superb. Ideal as a getaway or a stop over. Wish we had stayed longer and made it our central base for exploring. Host Kim has gone above and beyond to ensure guest comfort. This is a fabulous and well designed self contained cottage attached to the end of the main house but is private and separate consisting of a spacious, well equipped combined lounge kitchen dining area then a bathroom and the bedroom. The views over the valley are relaxing with the alpacas, miniature ponies, sheep and cattle for company. The beautiful house cat might greet you but respects your privacy. The property is pristine, clean and exceptionally comfortable and we can highly recommend it. Thanks so much Kim - the hostess with the most.
