The apartment was in a *great location*, literally across from the Arts and Sciences building and easy to get around by bus. There are restaurants and cafes nearby, and two markets (one that is closed on Sundays). The complex is quiet and the air conditioning unit in the living room worked well. It was helpful to have a washing machine (no dryer - you have to use the drying rack). The owner was very responsive. Someone met us when we arrived to show us around the apartment. The bed was comfortable and the room had darkening blinds.

The place was clean but not spotless. We kept finding bugs and dead bugs on the floor. The towels seemed old. When we got ready for bed, I noticed that one of the pillow cases had blood stains; I couldn’t tell if it had been washed and they were just old stains or if the pillow case had not been washed. It made me feel queasy to see, so I diligently looked around for bed bugs. I don’t think we saw any but we did see a few tiny bugs on the floor in the living room. We also didn’t have a drying rack so after arriving and running the washer. We had to hang all of our clothes in the balcony’s small table and chairs to dry. (They delivered the drying rack the next day). In truth, I was so freaked out about the pillow that I booked another place in town and left the next morning. We did not ask for our money back and just left the keys in the apartment as if we had already checked out. The bedroom also doesn’t have air conditioning nor was there a fan so it was very stuffy in the bedroom. I didn’t want to open a window because of mosquitos.

The location is really great and there are all the facilities you might need to enjoy your holidays.

Great location within a very short walk of the City of Arts and Sciences and Turia Park, just a 15-minute walk, or so, from the Oceanografic. A very near bus stop provides easy access to "old town" and its many attractions, or to the beaches. We enjoyed being able to walk out of the building and see the unique architecture of the City of Arts and Sciences. The apartment is spacious for a one-bedroom, and it has two bathrooms. We liked the ability to truly cook on a gas range to help save on some eating out costs (though we enjoyed that too). The kitchen even came with olive oil and spices to aid cooking, and a full-sized refrigerator. A grocer is also just across a small park area behind the apartment building. We liked having a washer which we used for 2 or 3 loads. They also provide a drying rack. The closet had lots of space and hangers, and a few drawers. There is plenty of natural light through a lot of windows as well as shades that can darken any room. It also has a comfortable living room area for when you need to relax and refresh between excursions. It is also only a 10-12 minute taxi ride from Joaquin Sorolla trian station. The manager/owner is very responsive to requests. Our train arrived a little earlier than their usual check-in time. With advanced notice, he arranged to have someone meet us early. We had trouble hooking up to the internet and he responded quickly through the Booking.com app. When an issue came up with a door to the little balcony, he had someone there within a few hours. We recommend this property and its manager. PS: He even has books and CDs/music available in different languages. Another thoughtful addition I noticed was one power converter in case you forget yours.
