Costa Lanta - Adult Only

This is the second time back at this resort. the accommodation second time was lovely - sea view suite. However the biggest attraction with this lovely resort was the space and the super beach front.

Location was great.

This probably was fantastic when it was first opened several years ago but really doesnt look like it has been maintained. It needs alot of TLC. We had to change rooms as the one we booked did feel 'coffin like' as mentioned in previous reviews. The new room was much nicer although all the wood in our bathroom needs to be replaced.

Excellent location and tranquil surroundings on the quieter side of the beach.

The decking on the shower floor in the room we stayed in needed maintenance.

The location was amazing. On the centre of a beautiful garden. Plenty of nature surrounding you. Very relaxing and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great pizza and breakfast. Thank you.

No coffee making facilities

Excellent location right in the mangroves on the quiet end of the beach. Very calm and relaxing. Good pool for swimming. Saw sea Eagles come and drink every afternoon. Lots of wildlife around the cottages.

Didn't like the deluxe cottages. They are small with no windows, no spaces to store luggage and you'll feel like living in a wooden box/shed. Make sure to book a suite as this is much bigger and more comfortable. There are no real beds you actually sleep on a matress on the floor!!

When I was reading the reviews before my trip, I was a little concerned and would have chosen another hotel if not most of them were sold out. I can say that I don’t regret my stay! The location is on the very north end of the beach. It’s not as busy but still close enough to everything. I stayed in a superior room and loved it! It was very clean, every night there was a turndown service, making sure for a mosquito-free night. The pool is beautiful and I also enjoyed the restaurant.

If there is anything negative to say, then some of the sunbeds and other facilities outside could be renewed. It didn’t affect my stay at all. Also the breakfast which was criticized in some reviews was totally fine for me. I don’t expect fancy latte art in an accommodation like this, therefore good filter coffee and to choose from eggs, fruits, muesli, pancakes etc definitely does the job for me.

You didn't feel like you were on a resort. The layout in the gardens is great. We got to stay in a Cabana before we had a room (two bookings) - the cabanas are very quirky. Mosquito nets were great. Swimming pool was really great. Direct access onto the beach. Resort location is best on the beach, but still close to everything. The beach is amazing. The staff, especially the guys at breakfast, were lovely.

We thought the food was quite disappointing. No Thai food on the menu at all. Breakfast was very limited for veggies - we expected better vegan options. Musli and fruit or very average pancakes were the only options and only soya milk. Oat Milk was generally available in other restaurants nearby. The bread is terrible - just cheap supermarket sliced bread. There are much better bread options nearby and should be better here at this price point. There was no lunch or dinner vegan food at all, but plenty in all of the other restaurants on the beach.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, location was very nice and quiet set in a large woodland area with each individual living unit separately sited. Looked to have been built in early 2000, there had not been much renovation since then so everything looking a bit worn out. Breakfast was good but nothing much for other meal eating..

Has been designed as industrial chic but unfortunately showing signs of wear due to lack of renovation In season Thailand accommodation is expensive for what is offered however eating is always good and cheap.

Amazing location with excellent beach and good pool. Very friendly staff. Big bathroom. Tranquil and eco friendly. Air conditioning great. Powerful shower. Lovely pizza restaurant

Significant bad smell of damp in cupboards - room 118. We complained to the staff, but all they offered to do was spray them with air freshener, which was completely ineffective, the wood needs replacing to fix the issue. We decided not to use them and instead use the shelves as our clothes would have ended up smelling. This was very disappointing as this resort was expensive for Thailand (over £1000 for 6 days) and is meant to be 4*. Our room and the resort in general was tired and in need of attention Lighting at night in the bedroom was poor If it wasn’t for the amazing beach and nice pool the rating would have been significantly lower.
