İki yatak odası vardı. Bu odalardan birisinde bir dolap olmaması kötüydü. Tuvaletlerden biri aşırı küçük ve dardı. Kaldığımız süre boyunca binanın bazı bölümlerinde sürekli onarım vardı ve doğal olarak gürültü oluyordu. Bunun dışında bir sorun yoktu.

Great location and lovely apartment. Perfect for our trip.

Everything was perfect. Fully equipped, very cosy, very clean. It is felt that the host gives his heart. It's not only about making money.

The apartment was lovely, well furnished and very clean. The beds were very comfortable as was the sofa and the kitchen contained everything we needed for our stay. WiFi was excellent and the Smart TV worked well. We were also impressed with the amount things provided such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee pods, soap and shampoo and multiple toilet rolls in both toilets. The heating also worked very well (it was below freezing while we were there) and there was no shortage of hot water. We asked the hosts for an early check in and they were happy to agree to that, communication in general with the hosts was good and all queries were answered within a few hours. Location wise it was also perfect and well situated for exploring Budapest. It was a 15 minute walk to Parliment, 25 minutes to Chain Bridge and 10 minutes to Oktogon. The nearest metro station Nyugati Palyaudvar is 5 minutes away and on the line to the airport so couldn't be easier. The apartment itself is in the center ring of the building so is very quiet, there is no traffic noise despite it being situated between two busy roads. The only windows look out over the central courtyard only but this wasn't an issue for us. All together this was a very a comfortable stay in a nice apartment.

Could have done with slightly clearer instructions for accessing the building and operating the lift. When using the key pas outside the building the numbers do not show up as you are pressing them. This is fine as the door will unlock if you enter the correct number(s) but initially we thought we'd made a mistake and pressed the wrong button! Also when operating the lift by the entrance on Bajcsy-Zsilinskzy ut you need to hold the button for the floor you want until it changes colour, then the lift will start. Again this took us a while to work out! The building itself is somewhat dated and when entering at night it can be quite dark, particularly if using the entrance from Jokai U. The lights do come on automatically as you walk through and this wasn't a problem for us but I'm not sure I'd have been comfortable using that entrance if I was a woman on my own. There was also a lot of rubbish in the area by that door. Neither of these things are the fault of the hosts obviously but I thought them worth a mention. On the plus side the lift on that side is easier to understand! The description of the apartment on booking.com states it has 'two bathrooms', however it has one bathroom with a shower and toilet and one separate toilet. This may be just because American's refer to a toilet as a 'bathroom' but for English people looking at this apartment there is only one room you can actually wash in! Finally the heating seemed to be centrally managed, we tried turning it down on the heating control but this didn't work so we had to turn off individual radiators to bring the temperature down. This wasn't a problem but some instructions for the actual heating control would have been nice. All of these are little things however and did not in any way detract from the enjoyment of our stay. We'd absolutely stay in this apartment again.
