Luxury 5 Star Hotel Residence A La Carte Ha Long

The host didn't show up, then an agent told me the property was not available and offered me a smaller studio for the 3 of us, disgusting, I had to book another apartment at a Hotel nearby, please, do not charge me for this junk. and please, de-list this host's properties.

It was a fraud, a confirmed reservation, and when I arrived, nobody to receive us, although I contacted the agent hours in advance on my way to the city, and at the end, she told me the apartment I rented was not available, I had to take a smaller one. NO WAY..

The appartment was super cosy, very clean. Amazing view Internet was very good. A nice bathtub The building is pretty new. The bed was super confortable. We didn’t get the apartment we booked as it had some issues that needed to be fixed, but we were moved to another one a bit cheaper. Jess was exceptional, super friendly, great communicator and helpful with anything we needed and that made our stay better. She has great english communication skills. I will recommend you to give it a try on your next trip to Ha Long

Some of the amenities (pool and gym) of the building are extra charge and a bit pricey. There are constructions around, so we got a bit of noise in the mornings. This is a residence and not a Hotel, so you don’t get all the services like cleaning. You can access restaurants and other commom areas from the Hotel side. But people from the hotel area were a bit too intimidating. There is not much to do around the hotel. You need a taxi or a long walk to find better places to eat and drink. (Jess was great at giving us some recommendations in the town) We went in March were people say was a great time to be, but it was not our case as the entire week was prettly cloudy, so you better check the weather instead of believing what people say on the internet.

We liked everything about A'La Carte Residences. A truly 5-star apartment in a brand new tower block. Modern design, beautifully finished and appointed, and with state-of-the-art access and security arrangements. The hotel is located on a beautiful white sand beach. Our apartment on the 27th floor looked out over the sea. There is a high-class restaurant, a comfortable, very reasonably priced coffee shop, and a small convenience store within the same building. Transport and hotel pickups are readily available and we booked our cruise from the hotel. The manager for our apartment, Jess, is a professional and intelligent young woman, she was close at hand and available at any time.

It is a very rare thing to say but we could not fault anything. There are hundreds of hotels in the rapidly developing Halong Bay area and choosing a good one really can be a hit-and-miss affair. We felt blessed that we chose this one.
